This study was conducted in four countries in Latin America in which the NSWP has members: Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru. A Regional Advisory Group whose main function was to supply feedback during the design, implementation and final revision of the project oversaw the study. This group was made up of a representative from each participating country in the study.The case studies highlight successful experiences of the sex worker organisations in the implementation of programmes or advocacy to promote public policies that have contributed to improvement of living conditions of sex workers in the four Latin American countries.
