Through face-to-face meetings, Skype conversations, and other methods of communications, positive sex workers came together in anger and solidarity to demand recognition of their voices and experiences in discussions, related policy, and programming that directly impact their lives. These sessions comprised the beginning of NSWP+2, a platform which brings together sex workers living with HIV with others campaigning for the rights of positive sex workers, to demand recognition that sex workers are not the problem in terms of HIV but part of the solution. The NSWP+ platform was launched with a list of demands made by positive sex workers. This document draws on the voices and experiences of sex workers living with HIV to explain these demands in more detail, and to make visible the needs and rights of positive sex workers globally.
